Meet the Writer
Hi y’all! My name is Eduarda Carvalho and I’m the writer behind this blog. I started this blog for my Internet Marketing class and decided that since I love reading so much, I’d use this as a way to share my favorite books, genres, and authors. I hope that this blog can help readers connect from all over the world!
My Story
Reading has been a huge part of my life since I was in elementary school. When I was three years old, I moved to the United States from Portugal with my parents. The language barrier between me and my cousins was difficult - I wanted to play with them but didn’t know how to. I ended up turning to reading to help me learn English. I read, and read, and read, and pretty soon, I understood the words and meanings better and better. Ever since then, I’ve loved to read.

Reading is a hobby that helps me get through difficult times, puts me out of a funk, and helps me escape reality. Sometimes, we all need to do that once and a while. I hope that all of those who read can also find comfort in it and those who don’t read can learn to love it.
